This policy explains how ConfidentHire Academy (“we”), part of ConfidentHire, handles personal information of students, freshers and employer users.

What we collect

• Account details: name, email, password (stored only as a secure hash) and, optionally, phone number.
• Student profiles: education, skills, projects, experience, certifications, links, photo and resume — whatever you choose to add.
• Employer details: company profile, designation and contact information.
• Activity needed to run the service: applications, statuses, saved items and in-app notifications.

Who can see student information

• Your profile is private by default. Verified employers can discover it only if you turn on discovery.
• Your resume and contact details are shared with employers only if you allow it, or with the employer of an opportunity you apply to.
• We never show phone numbers or email addresses in employer search results.

Courses and meetups

Course enrolment and meetup registration happen on GeeksArray, which has its own privacy policy.

Your choices

You can edit or delete your profile information at any time and change visibility settings in your account. To close your account, contact us.

Security

Documents such as resumes and certificates are stored privately and served only to authorised users.
